The Armadale Project Prints
THE ARMADALE PROJECT
The Armadale Project was a massive project for which I gained a Department of the Arts grant in 2008.? It was run out of The Old Post Office in Armadale and had its own dedicated website, (see link below). These prints were taken from my visual diary during some of the many surveys I took around the streets of Armadale.

The eight-month residency involved open studios, school visits, mapping, photo documentation of every building in the locality, interviews, videos, installations and two exhibitions. Running alongside was a discrete art project called Art Walking, Art Talking, in which I took a 2-metre roll of canvas into the streets to paint places of interest as directed by local’s stories Their stories were recorded and portraits painted as part of this project.
